Crosspointe is sending a team of rebuild volunteers to San Angelo, Texas, February 22 - 27, 2026, to serve with Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief.
Samaritan’s Purse is ministering to Tom Green County, TX, in the aftermath of the floods of July 2025. Rain fell at 12 inches per hour, causing the Guadalupe River to rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes. Catastrophic flooding swept through Central Texas, causing massive damage and loss of life.
The C3 Rebuild volunteers will assist in rebuilding and repairing homes in the San Angelo, TX area. No skills are necessary prior to serving. Staff will instruct and guide volunteers through the completion of rebuild tasks.
The team will fly from Detroit to Dallas-Fort Worth, then on to San Angelo Regional Airport, on Sunday, February 22. After picking up rental vehicles, the team will proceed to the local church, where we will be staying. Check-in at the church is at 7:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday will be full days of service. Friday, February 27, is a half day of serving and check-out from the church.
The team will stay overnight near the airport and fly back to Detroit on Saturday, February 28.
Meals and sleeping quarters will be provided. A list of what to pack will be provided. Tools will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own tool belts and small hand tools.
The approximate cost of this mission trip is $750 per volunteer, with a $100 deposit due at the time of registration. If cost is a limiting factor, please get in touch with the office for additional information. Registration is limited.
